This quote perfectly describes Corfu Town. Throughout Corfu's history, it was under Italian, French and English rule. The town today reflects that history in amazingly varied architecture, beautiful squares, statues, a fortress and a palace. It is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Greece. |
