The beach at Avlaki Bay in Kassiopi area is just a 15 minute walk away. The beach - with decking to make walking easy - is pebbly and is reputed to have the clearest water on the island and there are two excellent tavernas. (There are sandy beaches a few kilometres further north at St Spiridon and Kalamaki beaches.) As well as a variety of water sports, Avlaki Bay has a sailing school accommodating both beginners and experienced sailors. Nearby Kassiopi is an attractive little resort town in North part of Corfu island, well-provided with shops and all amenities including medical facilities

Kassiopi has several beaches (with water sports) as well as shops, bars and restaurants and ample, but farly low-key, nightlife. You can find a good local supermarket close by in Sinies and slightly bigger ones in Kassiopi. This area is popular with walkers and birdwatchers. If you want to explore further afield, Villa Levanda includes free car rental. Avlaki lies between Agios Stephanos to the south and Kassiopi to the north. It is approximately 30 kilometres from Corfu Town on the north-east coast of the island. A long, white shingle and pebble beach surrounds a curving bay with clear blue water. It is surrounded by green, olive-clad hills and its peaceful atmosphere is perfect for relaxing Corfu holidays. During the day you can enjoy a variety of waters sports or sign up for lessons at the sailing school. There are a couple of waterside tavernas serving traditional Greek cuisine.
