My wife Carol and I have now stayed at this hotel seven times .We first visited the hotel on Bed & Breakfast basis believing that we would enjoy visiting the local restaurants .Due to a misunderstanding with our room we were immediately offered a complimentary evening meal in the hotel .The food was exceptionally good,the service from the staff particularly Mr Vasillis and Mr Kostas the Restaurant Managers convinced us to book next time half board .We found that all the staff in the hotel were one big family working together and as guests we were able to embrace the wonderful atmosphere in the hotel and become part of the family .The warmth of the staff from Mr Ginnis the Director of the hotel to the porter Spiros was wonderful .

Kontokali Bay hotel has wonderful views looking out on the Adriatic Sea to Albania on one side and to the Marina at Kontokali on the other.The hotel has two private beaches with ample sunbeds,watersport facilities for those feeling more energetic.I
t has its own infinity pool was from our experience is never overcrowded .The hotel has a wonderful health spa although my wife and I have only used on a few occasions but it is well run with great massage facilities. As well as the Restaurant the hotel offers both lunchtime and evening Al a Carte restaurants managed by the lovely Lambros .The choice of food is wonderful in a very relaxed atmosphere .Over the years we have enjoyed the experience at least once in each restaurant

The entertainment in the hotel may be a little limited for some younger guests but for my wife and I to listen to Nikos playing his piano most evenings and occasionally listening to Christos singing in the taverna downstairs is a treat for all.
Kontokali Bay hotel runs a coutesy bus into Corfu town each morning but book early as seats are limited .The hotel reception and guests relations are well looked after by the lovely Elpida and Nelly who are always on hand to assist and offer advice.
Many of the guest that we have met over the years have been regular visitors to the hotel .It is a very cosmopolitan hotel which we have found very interesting to meet and chat to many of our European travellers. We have taken our neighbours and other friends on three occasions and they have all told us that the hotel sells itself .It has everything to offer for a relaxing holiday.
