Kontokali is a relatively quiet residential village with a decent selection of shops, tavernas and bars, on the east coast of Corfu, just 4 miles north-west of the fascinating Venetian capital, Corfu Town and the
airport.
Kontokali beach and resort runs along a narrow road to the side of the main road in a flat coastal area close to Gouvia.
Kontokali is not much of a village though there are old buildings, a fine local church and the remains of a castle. Holidays in
Kontokali can easily enjoy the attractions of the capital, Corfu Town, other nearby popular resorts, and the shallow waters of neighbouring Gouvia bay.
Kontokali might also appeal to families not requiring too much in the way of entertainment.
