Our flight into Corfu arrived late at night and we decided that we would like somewhere reasonably close to airport in which to stay for our first few days in Corfu and Spiti Prifti was an excellent choice. All the staff were really helpful and they organized a taxi to pick us up from the airport and show us to our rooms. The Spiti Prifti hotel itself was really lovely, we stayed in the studio and it was very spacious and we had a great porch area

The pool is fantastic. Gouvia does not boast a very exciting beach but there are plenty of restaurants and bars. We rented a boat for the day very cheaply from Billys Boats and had a great time. Corfu Town is very easily accessible from Gouvia and the hotels in the capital are far more expensive and, I don't think, as nice.
