The 2 room apartment we had at Spiti Prifti was very large and spotlessly clean. We especially liked the large balcony area. The beds were comfortable and there was ample room to store everthing. The owners take great pride in this place and it shows. The gardens and pathways were lovely. The owners and staff are very friendly and very obliging. I really can't fault this place. The only thing that detacts is the road noise which to be fair we were only aware of when outside the apartment or by the pool; there was hardly any traffic noise inside the apartment so it was very well soundproofed.

We had a car for the time we were on Corfu and there was always place to park in the entrance. The bakery just along the road in the direction of Corfu Town - just heaven! The fresh bread! The cakes! I can't remember the names of the resturants, but I think the best we dined was the Seven Muses in Gouvia; we ate there twice and its a well lit place on a corner. We did have a rotten meal (in one place which was called Aphrodites' Palace I think) - the owner was lovely, but the Chef must have tipped a box of salt into the stew which was inedible as a result.

After we pointed this out the waiter helpfully told us that a lot of people had said the same thing that evening! Oh well! C'est la vie! Corfu Town is incredibly busy, but well worth spending time walking around, having an iced coffee and watching the world go by at the Esplande. Yes, I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family, but I would mention the fact that there's busy main road outside.
