If you are looking for a relatively cheap holiday in a lovely resort, not too overrun with tourists, then Saint George is a real treat.
Star studios had good and bad points: Rooms larger than a lot of Greek studios we have stayed in in the past. Lovely setting, 10 minutes outside the town centre, near a lovely little mountain, very quiet, peaceful, picturesque and lovely views. Great sized balcony with good washing lines and pegs etc. The cleaning lady, Maria, was delightful and extremely efficient. The bar seemed pleasant and we had a meal in the restaurant once and it was very good and certainly good value. We didn't spend much time there as it seemed quite family orientated (we are a couple) and we had friends in the main town so we hung out with them. The restaurants in the town were excellent with lovely gardens overlooking the sea. There is a very nice looking pool at Stars but it was murky (high season?) Basic studios with little in the kitchen. We didn't care as our self catering centred around having a fridge and nothing else, but if you want to do self catering and cook, the pots, pans, cutlery are quite limited. Our beds were really hard as were the pillows. Quite uncomfortable especially at first. there was not enough storage space. Luckily, one of us didn't unpack!
Our shower was a bit of a disaster (more water all over floor than anywhere else!) The owner is very up and down in temperament. He clearly didn't want to make friends with us but I saw that he got on very well with other people. His lovely wife (who does the cooking), however, is really friendly and kind. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday in a lovely resort that I would recommend to anyone. For 2 star accommodation, Star Studios is perfectly acceptable and even very good in comparison to some others i have seen, but it isn't perfect and things such as the shower and uncomfortable beds need to be accepted as par for the course

Just returned from a week at the Stars studios, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.
Room was fine and was made most welcome by Kostas and Mila. We ate at a variety of different venues in St george town, and had some excellent meals at Stars, which was good value. The only downside was the weather which only gave us about three days of sunshine, hence the 8. Will certainly return to Saint George in Corfu and stay again at the Star studios

Booked a last minute holiday to Corfu for my self and my family and were allocated Stars on arrival and the resort of st george south Corfu ...How lucky we were to have been allocated the splendid Star studios nad apartments.
We had a marvelous appartment with air conditioning, clean kitchen and bathroom. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home.The town of St george South has 2 great beaches and is ideal for familys with small children not that we went to the beach much as our children prefered the pool at Star studios. There are numerous bars and restaurants in the towns and they all welcome families. we very lucky to get allocated Star studios s and would not hesitate in recommending this place to anyone

Back home after 2 fantastic weeks at Stars studios. Thanks to the staff for the great service and the unforgetable holiday in Corfu. The food was the best in the area and the hotel room very clean. Everybody had a great time there and is the first holiday that I show all the guests to enjoy themselves and have fun. The entertaitment everynight was great and the people were waiting hours before the event starts. Greek night is one of the best ever and Quiz, Karaoke, Bingo once a week. Me and my family, loved it all and already we try to book for next year. Once more I must mention the food because STAR studios serves the best meals all over Corfu for the holiday makers and this is the true. People use to come to eat from other areas also.I already miss the taste of the Greek Mousaka.
