Just got back from 7 days all inclusive at the Livadi Nafsika in Dassia. The hotel was by no means full, and as it is not serviced by British Tour Operators we were the only Brits there. That said Livadi Nafsika hotel staff all spoke pretty good English, and we were spared the excesses of brits on tour. When we were there it was a quiet hotel and very suitable for older couples and families.
No in house entertainment, though you could always go to the sister hotel (The Elea Beach Hotel, a short stroll away). The room was functional, with effective air con. Food was genrally ok, with a good mix of local meals on offer as well as the usual euro fare, but a limited choice. If your are on an all inclusive deal you need to kow that this operates up to 11pm. Livaki Nafsika is a short walk (perhaps 300/400 meters) from the shingle/pebble beach which is gently slopping and very safe. The resort itself is a little more family orientated than its close neighbours Ipsos and Gouvia. A fair number of restaurants, plenty of which offer Corfiot cuisine.

Returned yesterday from a weeks holiday with my Mum at the Hotel Nafsika. We had a really great, relaxing time made all the better by the quality of service provided by the hotel owner Spiros and his team. This hotel is one of the friendliest I have ever stayed at, is definately the cleanest and has the most wonderful food. I now understand why so many people are return visitors. We paid a little extra for a sea view and as the hotel is only a stones throw from the beach, we awoke every morning to the sound of the sea and a beautiful view. Our room was comfortable and a good size. Continental breakfast could be supplemented with extra items if required and there was a great choice of starters, main courses and desserts for evening meal. The menus were never repeated and there was some fabulous home cooking and of course we can't forget the Greek dancing. I will definately be recommending Hotel Livadi Nafsika to friends and family and return next year with my husband who is now very jealous that he couldn't come with us this year

I have stayed at the Nafsika several times over the years but havent been back to San Stefanos since 1991. However, my parents still visit every other year and absolutely love both Dassia resort and the Nafsika hotel. I couldnt stay at the Nafsika this time as Spiros was fully booked, but did go there 3-4 times during our stay for our evening meal. My husband is a chef and a very difficult man to please when eating out, yet upon eating at the Nafsika on our first night, he was really impressed with the standard of the food. We didnt eat anywhere else in San Stefanos that matched the superior cooking at the Nafsika to be honest and had a couple of really naff meals at Olympia and Ozzy Oil......... We kept going back to the Nafsika because the food is really that good - yes Theodora is away at the moment, but her receipes are still being used to fabulous effect. The sea bream was a particular favorite of my husbands, so would greatly recommend that! The prices are extremely reasonable and cheaper than several other less good restaurants. Firmly recommend you trying the Nafsika if you are visiting San Stefanos as the food is brilliant and the best in Dassia.
