The Kanali Apartments enjoys a fantastic hillside location, overlooking the coastline of the Canal D'amour area in Sidari Corfu.
These modern studios and apartments offer comfortably furnished and well equipped accomodation.  There are several bars, restaurants and tavernas within short distance, including the AqariusTaverna which is just at the poolside of Kanali apartments.
The centre of Sidari resort is only 1km away, and access to the beach is just down a few steps.  Alternatively, you can head over the back of the taverna to an alternative cove, again only about 100 yards away. Booked this holiday on the recommendation of the comments from this site. So glad we did. We took 2 children aged 13 and 7. The staff are all brilliant, they go out of their way to help. Jeni the Manager arranged a cake for my sons 7th birthday while we were there. Food in Aquarius is great, and you must go to the Greek Nite, best free entertainment you will get ! The rooms are basic but adequate, and are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. The pool is better that it looks in the books and is also spotlessly clean. My 2 spent most of the holiday in it. Lots of other good places to eat in Sidari, try Sea Breeze, Mythos, Three Little Pigs and Bed Bar. First Choice use Hertz rent a car, very expensive, we went local and paid 75 euro for 3 days, Hertz is 75 for 1 day ! Rep on site was good, very informative and gave honest opinion on things. Aqualand is worth a visit if you have water babies like me, dont go with First Choice, do it yourself, you will save a lot. Would def. love to go back and catch up with Jeni, Spiros and his family ...

Kanali apartments over look the canal d amour area of sidari. The resort of sidari we thought was rather cheap and tacky looking, however, the canal d amour is a very pretty area with breathtaking views. Kanali apartment was a two bedroom on the second floor of a three storey building. The balcony was large with breathtaking views of the canal d amour area. There is a swimmng pool and a bar resturant called the Aquarius attached to the apartments and owned by the same people. The food was lovely and the service excellent. The waiters were also very friendly. The manager Jenni is very helpful and will do her utmost to ensure you have a enjoyable stay. She also has her own coffee shop on the road into sidari that sells lovely cakes. The beach is narrow and is surrounded by large cliffs. Kanali apartment itself was spacious, but did have a lot of ants. The weather was very hot, too hot for me. The tour we did was a day trip to corfu town, which had a few stalls and shops in narrow streets that were fine for browsiing. Its better and cheaper to arrange tours with the agents in the resort rather than through the holiday companies that are more expensive. We all enjoyed out holiday, as Corfu is a lovely island, though becoming quite commercialised. I would not go to Sidari again.

Re: lovely views from the rooms over the Canal D'Amour in Sidari!

Have recently returned from our two week holiday and wow! We were amazed. This was our first 'package' type holiday for quite a few years and we definitely picked the right place to stay. The Kanali apartments are in a spectacular position with lovely views from the rooms over the Canal D'Amour and Sidari. The Kanali is in a great spot. At the bottom of the lane there is a selection of tavernas to choose from or if you fancy a little longer stroll into the main 'strip' this is where you will find more bars and restaurants. Mainly families in resort no yobbos. You are able to sleep peacefully in your beds as there is no noise up where the Kanali apartments are late into the night. However if you want to stay up until 3am or 4am drinking in the Aquarius Bar then Spiros and his team will party on with you!! Supermarket located at bottom of the lane so not too far to go for those essentials.
The pool is cleaned every morning and is simply the best pool we have come across. The food at the Aquarius is super; Spiros' mum does all the cooking and the moussaka is yummy!! The Greek night on a Thursday is great and if you are lucky Spiros, Costa and Dimitris's dad will give you an encore!! All in all we cannot fault this place and are definitely going back. The rooms of Kanali Apartments are kept clean by the brilliant maids. Jeni, the English hotel manageress, however, is the overall star for us. Nothing is too much trouble for her and as she speaks fluent Greek is a godsend! Our daughter had a serious ear infection and Jeni was fabulous, she rang the Dr and got him to come to the apartments to save us the walk into town. She has even rung us back in England to see how our daughter is getting on. We booked some trips with an agent in town, much cheaper than with first choice. Went to Aqualand, brilliant; did the beach BBQ glass bottom boat to paradise beach which was a lovely day with beautiful crystal clear water. Lots of nice places to eat; our favourites were Aquarius (of course!) The Village, Nicholas and Sea Breeze to mention a few. Enjoy yourselves if you go here you will not be disappointed. Saving up now for our next trip.

We arrive after a transfered flight due to melted tarmac on the runway about 10.30pm ish, not only was Jenny there to meet us but they have kept the resturant open for us to have a drink and a meal. We awoken the next morning to a wonderful view over the sea and the pool next door. Our room was very spacious we had a studio but managed to fir 3 beds plus a travel cot.
Although we had to climb up 3 flights of stairs every morning and night it was worth is for the view. The pool area was always clean and there was no morning rush for the beds. There are a few beaches to choose from which varied our days at Sidari beach. Always the water very shallow ideal for kids! Not to far from the main resort centre but we were quite happy to eat at Kanali hotel or close by (three little pigs well worth a visit for greek dancing and fire dancing plus plate smashing). What more can I say about the staff, they are fantastic could not do more for you always made a fuss of my 2 children aged 20 months and 4 months. Would I go back again in Kanali Apartments. YES YES AND YES, had a great time there, we are planning to go back next year
