On arrival, I was a little disappointed with the quality of the room, it was very dated but apart from early mornings, late evenings and showering etc we hardly spent any time there. I know they are in the process of a refurb so i'm sure the rooms will be updated at some point. The Akrotiri Beach hotel staff, particularly the restaurant were absolutely amazing. We travelled with a one year old and they went out of their way at every meal time to make a fuss of her. Equally, the food was first rate. Breakfast was as you expect, continental style but also offering poached, scrambled eggs, bacon etc

Many different options every night for dinner,all of which were really good and they even gave us a small portion for our little girl which she thoroughly enjoyed. Pool area very contemporary and looks like something out of a 5* brochure. beach good but there are a lot of pebbles. We ate at bar Akron most lunchtime and once again found the staff to be really helpful, friendly and a real breath of fresh air. Views are fantastic and Paleokastritsa area is lovely although we would probably try somewhere different next time just to experience more of Corfu. Travelled with: Family with Young Children.
