Just spent a week in Sidari waterpark hotel apartments, 7th -14th June 2010. Went with my partner and 3 children aged 3,4,and 7. Arrived at the apartment mid morning and was greeted by smiling staff who welcomed us and showed us to our apartment. We were on the second floor and had a 2 bedroom apartment with balcony.

Was really pleasently surprised how nice and clean the rooms were. both rooms were twin rooms and one had an extra bed put in. you had access to the balcony from both rooms and the doors had a mesh you can pull up or down (we had the mesh down at night because of the mossie's but left door open for cooler air). As we were self catering we had a small fridge and 2 electric hobs, 1 pot and 1 frying pan. this was sufficient for us

The waterslides were open from 10am-5pm and my 7 year old really enjoyed them. the main pool was great as we had little ones we stayed in the shallow end most of the time. There's plenty of sun loungers for all the guests and you could order food and drink at the pool side. we spent 2-3 hours at the hotel pool and spent the rest of the time at the beach or exploring the rock formations at canel d'amor which was about 15-20 minutes walk. The beach was only 5 minute walk away, a path at the rear of the hotel took you straight there

food - there's a mexican restaurant in the main street situation on the roof, tasty but thought the service was chaotic, restaurant was not full but staff was running around. kitchen disorganised as waited a while between dishes for main meal. The chinese in the main street also situation on the roof top was quite good. sat facing the sea and had views of the cliffs - don't order chicken wings unless you like lots of bbq sauce. the chicken and black bean sauce, chicken fried rice, sweetcorn and chicken soup were really decent. the chef is chinese. Always check out the prices of the restaurants as the prices do vary, it also depends on what you want to eat. Closer to the hotel is a pizzeria, really good pizza's there. The ice-cream parlar on the main street is really, really good. they also do made to order waffles and crepes, it also has a play area inside for the kids to run around in. Dinner roughly for us cost around 45 to 50 euros, which was 2-3 starters, 5 main courses and fruit juices and beer and wine

There are plenty of bars and a couple of nightclubs on the main street. didn't really go there as we had young ones with us all the time. The supermarket is only 5 minute walk from the hotel, it stocks all foods and has deli and fresh meat, fresh veg. prices similar to uk. Pampers are extremely expensive so pack your own.
There are a 2 or 3 places along the beach you can do watersports, check out prices from each one and some will offer you deals if you do more than one sport. my partner and my son opted for the banana boat with was 10 euros each.
