Just returned from 2 lovely weeks at the Sidari Waterpark. Our family of Mum,Dad and 2 girls aged 9 and 7 enjoyed it very much. The rooms do lack a lounge area and if you need to shower your kids be warned, there is no room to help...one person if you are lucky!! The apartments are very clean..beds made every day and linen changed every 3 days. Around the pool is very clean too and you just lie on your sunbeds and they come to you and ask what you want to drink/eat..no need to move!! Everything goes on a bill so it is best to check it every few days so you don't get a shock at the end of your holiday!!

The slides are brilliant..3 bigger ones and a couple of baby ones..with a lifeguard there all the time. They don't get busy despite anyone being able to pay and come in and use them. The sunbeds are always free..but like most of the hotels in Sidari anyone can come in for FREE and use your pool. This I found quite annoying considering how much it cost to stay here..you could easily stay in a very cheap room up the road and all you would have to pay for is the use of the slides!!

The town is a 5/10 minute walk away..you have 2 choices..take a torch and walk down a dusty track or take your lives into your own hands and walk down the main road with no pavement... and cars and coaches that come within inches of you!! We found 2 restaurants with nice food and beautiful sunsets..Sea Breeze and Sunset...Sea Breeze does Greek Dancing EVERY night and most do it at LEAST once a week so Zorbas will be etched in your head by the time of your return!! All the bars have a tribute act..so if you miss Michael Jackson in a bar one night..have no fear he will be in one a couple of doors up the next!!

Sidari is a typical resort that has got built up over the years..there is enough for families with young children up to teenagers..a few little kiddy play cars and trampolines are in one area. We hired out Go Kart buggies and a Quad bike and went along to San Stefanos as the beach is longer there and plenty of sunbeds. It is a small town about 15 minutes drive..but is nice as you see the Greek countryside and go through a little village with locals plonked outside on their stools!!
All in all Sidari Waterpark is known as the best hotel in the area and with the slides the children (and adults) will be well entertained. We had a lovely holiday..the girls will miss Kate. one of the waitresses from the pool..who worked her socks off..the waterslides...and we will miss that golden sunshine
