My fiance & I have just returned from a week at this hotel & it we will definately be going back. Although you have to climb two very steep hills to get to the hotel the view from the front of the hotel & all the rooms is amazing. You are able to see all the way to Albania & Corfu town across the sea.The hotel & pool are all on one level & all the rooms are in blocks further still up the hill. We stayed half board with breakfast & dinner served as a buffet.

The staff are all very helpful & our room was cleaned every day. The daytime receptionist is an english lady & she helped us to organise everything from horseriding to a water taxi into Corfu town. Barbati is a very quiet relaxed resort with a long pebbled beach providing watersports, sun loungers etc. We found another very quiet beach just down from the hotel although again it is a very steep climb to get down to it from the main road. The hotel also has 8 deluxe rooms which you can upgrade to if you wish. We didn't but spoke to people who had & they said it was well worth it so maybe next time.
