We have just returned from a lovely holiday at the Paleo Inn. It is a great little hotel in a good location with friendly staff and a nice pool. There's lots to like about the place, but unfortunately there is a disparity in relation to the rooms at Paleo Inn hotel.

The rooms on the 2nd floor are roomy and airy and have great views of the sea and surrounding area from their balconies, however the rooms on the lower floor do not enjoy the same privilege, and if you are unlucky enough to be allocated room 102 (as we were when we arrived and had to endure for 3 days until we were able to be moved), you will have a noisy mini fridge as a bedside cabinet, absolutely nowhere to store anything so will be unable to unpack your suitcase, have a bed that creaks loudly at every little move, a bathroom so small that you have to negotiate the door to get to the toilet, and a lovely view of the cleaners' cupboard from your patio. Thomson should not allow room 102 to be used for guests paying the full price as it is sub standard and could spoil a holiday if it is not possible to be moved to an alternative room. We found that we had not been the first people to be moved out of this room during our stay! Travelled with: spouse/partner. Visit was for: Leisure
