We visited the Paleo Inn between 18th -25th June and found the place exactly as described (last review aside quoting hostel not hotel) it’s a basic 2 star bed and breakfast which is in beautiful location, and has a central position to walk to many good eating places and bars. We found many places had menu of the day for 9.5 Euros for very good sea food with the extra drinks and melon thrown in to encourage a return. The rooms are basic but very clean, relatively spacious and everything worked, with a good powerful shower. We were in 216 which had a nice balcony with a view of the sea, lemon and olive groves and could find no fault. The owner and staff were very friendly and it’s a good honest B&B.

We paid 1 Euro each to have a couple of poached eggs every morning to compliment the basics jam, coffee and toast and the Greek Salad for lunch was excellent. We walked up the donkey path to the village using a map supplied by Andy the Thompson rep and found the effort worth the spectacular views. We bought a bottle of homemade rose at a very old fashioned shop in the village and found it better than restaurant house wine. Our only criticism coming from fifty something’s is the issue of the Thompson description of “adult only hotel “. Well the residents are but as the pool is open to the public and the peace and quiet was usually disrupted for an hour or 2 by hordes of children on the afternoon, but we have had young kids of our own so we cant blame young families for using the well appointed pool

Andreas advises he built the pool 5 years ago and as times are hard need the additional revenue.
All in all a fantastic week would definitely return to the resort and the Paleo Inn but bear in mind it is a basic bed and breakfast as described in the website and brochure. If you take that on board you will not be disappointed
