We've just come back from Corfu, stayed at Nissaki Beach Hotel. Had a great time! Would like to go back at some stage. Hotel is generally clean, however floor in our room was quite dirty. Room interior is basic, not really 4* standard, but OK.
Best bit - balcony with beautiful view. Worst bits - air con is rubbish and pillows are awful. We did not pay for sea view, and quite happy about that, as sea view rooms are noisy at night, facing the pool/bar.

We had a gorgeous far-reaching side sea/hill views, but beware that there are also rooms on the other side of the building with truly awful views, or lack of such - just a side of the hill a few inches away from your balcony! Negative points: some communal areas stink of smoke, it was suffocating at times when you have people constantly smoking into your face, despite of presence of young children. We are quite spoilt in Britain with the smoking ban! It was very international with lots of Germans, Russians and other nationalities, so if you do not like mixing with other cultures too much, this is clearly not for you, as the place is quite secluded and you bump into same people all the time.

We made some friends, and liked the international feel of it. Entertainment team were great, they really made our stay, great for children, both our 7-year-old and 1.5-year-old loved it! They have lots of activities for all ages, mini-disco every night, and our children had the best time! Adult entertainment shows are fun in a silly kind of way - don't expect sofistication! Restaurant food was great, both breakfast and dinner had wonderful choice of buffet-style dishes, with lots of fresh fruit & veg, lots of Greek salads, fish, meat etc. Wonderful cakes and ice-cream. People are generally nice and welcoming with some exceptions - one waiter was rude and intimidating, and reception staff could be a bit patronising or abrupt. Swimming pool is very clean with
a pool for younger children, which was great. In short, it's not perfect but we really enjoyed it - great place to get away from it all!.
