We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Nissaki Beach Hotel and enjoyed it immensely. This is the first package holiday we have taken in about 15 years so were a bit wary but were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. We had a room for 2 adults and our 11 year old daughter - we had twin beds and there was a bunk-bed. Rooms were fairly basic but clean. Air-con not brilliant and noisy. Fantastic views across the olive groves to Albania - so on the right side of the hotel with with very little noise (just some at breakfast time).

he pool wasn't huge but because of the location of the beach it wasn't a problem for us. Don't forget your beach shoes though - shingle/pebble beach. Lots of entertainment during the day if you wanted it - water gym, archery, darts etc and water sports available just along the beach. Short walk from the back of the hotel to Agni (our Thomas Cook rep didn't know it was possible to walk there) where there are 3 tavernas worth a visit. There is a water-taxi available so you don't have to walk back - a nice way to finish off an evening! Also along the beach there are a couple more tavernas & a small supermarket (open mornings).

For the size and type of hotel we thought the food was excellent - all buffet style but lots of choice, great salad bar. We booked the standard half-board but went onto "All Inclusive" for 5 days. There was quite a restriction with this - drinks tended to be cheaper versions (ie pineapple squash rather than juice) and limited cocktails, spirits and wine); also food from the pool bar was different on the "All Inclusive" - e.g. just a basic burger - if you paid for it you got a salad and fries. Found the staff to be very friendly and hard-working. Used the courtsey bus to go into Corfu Town a couple of times and hired a boat for a day.
Feel we need to go back to Corfu sometime to visit a bit more of the island but this was just a relaxing chill - out holiday for us. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet location off the beaten track
