We stayed on Kontokali Bay Hotel in the peak season and were really happy with all aspects. The staff were extrememely friendly & would do anything for you. Our room was in the main building and it was clean & very accomodating.
We stayed with our 9yr old daughter and easily had enough room. She had to to gymnastics training each evening and managed to fit that in by moving the coffee table! The restaurants and staff were of a really good standard. Breakfast can get a bit boring once you've tried everything, but the food was cooked well and the staff really friendly - they always greated you and were quick to remember you and your children's likes/dislikes etc.

The bar & beach restaurant & BBQ was definitely one of the best things about the hotel. I can still taste the BBQ'd salmon now and wish I was still there! By the end of our week it did get a little difficult to get sunbeds if you got to the beach later than 10am but we always managed it somehow. Our only gripe was the cost of the drinks - I think we would have stayed and eaten at the restaurant a bit more if the wine/beer had been cheaper. Even a coke was expensive!

Our daughter loved the beach and the pool, but there weren't many children her age staying at the time - maybe it gets busier into the school holidays but we did think that if you want to go for entertainment for young (ish) children, then Kontokali bay hotel can't offer this. their evening entertainment was sometimes aimed at children and there isn't anything in the daytime.
If you're looking for a great hotel with good food and a fantastic location - then you can't beat it!.
