We booked the Bella Vista Hotel online at the last minute on October 3, 2008 for a two night stay. When we arrived with large bags in tow, we saw a sign on the door “Closed for the Season”. Apparently the online service did not know they had closed. Before we could start to panic a wonderful lady appeared and told us that it was OK she would take care of us.
This lady, Anthea, was the owner of the Bella Vista Hotel. She could not have been nicer, more accommodating, and friendlier. She gave us a beautiful studio and apologized for not being able to give us breakfast. She, fairly adjusted the price for the room, gave us access to her internet, and sent over snacks from her own refrigerator. We became friends and she joined us for dinner the next night. This is an example of true customer service !!!!

We could not be happier with the service at the Bella Vista. It’s all about attitude. The owner understands the first principle of the hospitality industry: “Service to the Customer”. Anthea opened her doors to us and gave us wonderful service…with a smile…in an extraordinary situation. Can you imagine the service in a normal situation? We could see what a wonderful little gem this hotel is right in the center of Benitses, Corfu. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and, of course, stay there again when visiting Greece. Visit was for: Quality time with family. Traveled with: Spouse / significant other.
