Aquis Agios Gordios hotel has been fully refurbished and is now of an excellent standard.
The rooms were spotless and we were put in one of the adjacent bungalows (a steep walk, but well worth the climb).
The room had a TV and DVD player, but we didn't stay in it that long as the weather was scorching outside. The sunbeds are comfy but were nabbed quite early, so we ended up on the beach most days.

The hotel does have a part of the beach, but charge for using those beds, which is a bit of a nuisance as if they were free it would relieve the congestion around the pool. The beach bar now forms part of the all inclusive between 10:00 and 18:00, but after that you have to pay for your drinks, which again is a bit silly as you can just go up to the hotel and get a drink there.

The food was of a high standard for all inclusive and a good selection, whatever your taste. We sat outside in the restaurant and the sunsets are spectacular. The wine is on tap, as is the beer and soft drinks in the restaurant. We were automatically booked in to the a la carte, which was lovely food and it was nice to be served. The sushi restaurant was not used by anyone, which seemed wasteful as we had to pay. Maybe the hotel should consider allowing customers to sample this as part of the all inclusive. Aquis Agios Gordios is set in stunning surroundings, but very hilly, so not suitable for anyone with any problems walking. The hotel is only all inclusive until 23:00 but the village is a 10 min walk away with a few bars if you are late night people like us. The entertainment was at best dreary so dont bother unless you want to listen to chitty chitty bang bang

Don't mean to sound negative as we had a lovely time and would recommend it to anyone as a place to stay.
Aquis Agios Gordios hotel was meant to be adults only but there were a couple of kiddies there, but it did not bother us.
The hotel supply beach towels so dont bother packing your own. All in all a beautiful hotel with friendly staff. (p.s. the courtesy room, if you need it, is just the communal shower in the health spa "tut tut" hopefully they will change that
