From the moment we arrived at the hotel we realised that our holiday was going to be exactly what we wanted a relaxing break where the pace was set at laziness. The staff, from the receptionists to the cleaners were polite and helpful with a special mention to the restaurant and bar staff who work all hours but seem to always have a smile for you.
We stayed for 2 weeks in Aquis Agios Gordios Hotel and found the food to be plentiful and varied although we did break up our stay with a couple or three meals in the local taverna's which again provided some excellent meals

The beverage menu was large and varied and although a large percentage of the drinks were not included in the A/I package we found that the inclusive drinks catered for most people and were of a good quality and potency.
The room we had overlooked the rooftop bar area and offered amazing views across the village and the bay. The location of the hotel could not be faulted even if you do have to negotiate a few steps to get around. Aquis Agios Gordios hotel does have several lifts for those who have an issue with the amount of steps. These also come in handy when you've had one too many cocktails and don't want to risk breaking your neck on a flight of stairs.

There always seemed to be sun beds available at any time of the day and the usual early morning reserving crowd soon found out that the hotel staff were on hand to politely gather their towels/belongings and return them when they finally showed up to claim their beds! (this in some cases was late afternoon) You are informed that this will happen when you first arrive at reception but some people still have to try their luck.
The pool is not the largest I have sat around but on many occasions you found yourself sharing it with as little as 6 - 10 other people. Most guest's just used it to cool down rather than play ball games etc
The evening entertainment is very low key which as other reviews have pointed out adds to the relaxing feel of the place.
Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a quite relaxing holiday without the distraction of loud poolside music and under 18's taking over the place.
