Completely agree with the last review. We were also part of the Volcanic Ash Survivors Group (!) and cannot fault the friendliness, efficiency and sheer sense of fun of the hotel staff. It is probably unfait to single anyone out, but Anetta and her colleagues in reception consistently went beyond the call of duty in sorting out a difficult situation for us. Saint Anetta became her nickname. Special mention too to bar staff , and all the food service staff - it was like staying with really good friends.

Thank you too to the unpronounceable Icelandic volcano that left us stranded with some of the greatest people we've ever met - a real sense of group solidarity and some great evenings in the bar! When a coach left to take some off to the airport, we all trouped out to wave goodbye with a real sense of sadness. And Aquis Agios Gordios hotel, the location? Beyond superlatives. Just totally perfect for a relaxing, chilled out break. This was our first "all inclusive" and we were a little worried about "beer monsters" drinking themselves silly. Nothing was further from the truth - nobody abused the free dirinks and the beautiful sophisticated environment encouraged courtesy and friendliness.
