My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks in July with our 8 year old daughter. Although we enjoyed ourselves, a 2 week stay
is just too much. The hotel is very isolated, this is not so bad through the day when you can take advantage of the water-park next to the hotel, or take the free bus into Corfu town or the beach, but the nights drag on as the entertainment is dire, really very poor. My husband and I were very disappointed that there were no other English families staying at Aqualand Resort hotel, it was only in the last couple of days there were more English families booking in. The hotel was predominantly Dutch and German, so some English families may find this even more isolating.

The food at first was very good but then became very repetitive, with the same fish dish served every night for 6 nights.
This becomes very frustrating as there is really no where else to eat outside the complex, except for a small restaurant that we ate at for three nights within the last week of the holiday. The staff were very accommodating, with the maids working very hard. We had no experiences of wasps, which I was expecting after reading various reviews on the problem. But there was an overpowering stench of sewage which was quite off-putting especially when eating.

Aqualand water-park and wave pool was great for the children... and adults too, but there could have been more bars to obtain drinks and instead of the hotel charging for accessing the Internet this should have been free in my mind. Overall it was good, 2 weeks was a little bit too long especially considering the location of the hotel
