I have been staying at Christina Hotel for 20 years now and it is a wonderful family run place to stay.
With air conditioned rooms, with tv, fridge and tea making facilities, with sea or garden views, you couldn't want for a better place to stay. The Botsis family are professional, but with a good sense of fun and add to the atmosphere of the hotel. I'd recommend it to anyone .....

Yet again the botis family looked after us very well for the seventh year on the trot. Everything about the hotel is excellent. Atmosphere not just in the hotel but in the whole village of Messonghi is relaxing, very friendly & caring and nothing is too much trouble. Some great tavernas, Zak's and Minore, a must. .....

There seem to be two Hotel Christinas reviewed here, one in Sidari and another in Messonghi. Perhaps contributors should make it clear which one they are writing about.
I have visited the one in Messonghi which is perfect for a quiet get away from it all break. It is a family run hotel situated right on the beach. The breakfasts are ample and the taverna/bar sells tasty home cooked food. The rooms are spacious, as are the shower rooms. This cannot be beaten for price, so if you can get a reasonable flight then you will enjoy a relatively cheap holiday. Messonghi is a quiet resort, hardly changed in the 20 or so years we have been visiting. Its very laid back, not a lot to do, but thats what we like about it. Be sure to visit Harri at his taverna 'Minore' just up the road from the Aquarius apartments, near the main supermarkets. He is a true character and NEVER forgets a face - probably 80% of his customers each night are 'regulars' some from years ago. His food is very tasty, ample portions and not expensive.

We have stayed at Christina's Hotel many times (about six we think) and have always found the host family to be perfect hosts. The Hotel is in a lovely quiet location and yet just a few steps from the village and beach.
There are many people like us who regularly return because of the whole relaxing experience that Christina Beach Hotel and the local people offer. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the walks to local villages sceinic. Owners (Dimitris & Vassili) are happy to discuss, and direct you to areas of interest, and will even arrange transport to those further away. An ideal hotel situated in an ideal location if you are looking for a relaxing time.
