Really enjoyed the hotel. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Free use of the safe and the fridge in the room.
The new swimming pool is magnificent and the beach is great to swim from. I agree with previous comments that the price of drinks in the hotel are exhorbitant but across the road is a great British pub called Shakes which is very convenient! Very friendly staff and excellent food quality. Our first visit to Corfu but we will go again and be happy to stay in the Dassia Chandris again ...

Myself and my family have just returned from what was probably the most enjoyable holiday we have had,the hotel and facilites were fantastic and the staff within the hotel from the chamber maids to the general manager could not have done anymore to make our stay any better,we will be returning next year to a wonderful location with wonderful people.

We stayed at the Corfu Chadris from the 16th september and had a wonderful holiday.
All the staff were very friendly and you couldn't ask for any more from them. We arrived late at night and our party of six were booked in very fast and given very good directions to room. Rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable!!! which i wasn't
expecting from reading previous reviews. Resturant in Chandris Hotel was clean and staff were wonderful even though they were very busy even though there were six us we never waited longer then 10 mins for a table. There was always a good choice of food even my daughter who is only eight enjoyed every meal. The only down side to the whole of the holiday was the moaning oap's i was embarresed to be british nothing was ever good enough for them and they moaned about anything and everything and looked at my daughter as if she shouldn't of been there pushing her out of the way in the resturant. But we didn't let them ruin our holiday and in the end we were laughing at them, It was a fantastic holiday and i would certainly recomend it

My husband and I have just returned from a week at this Lovely Hotel, It as its own private beach (shingle) but great anyway. (Doughnuts wonderful). Dassia Chandris grounds were outstanding extremely well tended. The gym is of really good standards with sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi’s inside and outside by the pool. We had a standard room which was very big, with mini-bar, TV, balcony over-looking the pool and also sea view, the room was spotless, cleaned daily, bathroom (quite compact) had all the usual complimentary toiletries, replenished when used plus hairdryer. Mini-bar, Hotel bar and internet quite expensive, but the outlook is beautiful, we were lucky the temp was 30+ degrees with only one day’s rain.
May I suggest "Dream" the pub across the road from the hotel, drinks cheap and also internet available with English food for lunch. Food at Dassia Chandris hotel is good with plenty of choice, the staff are helpful and polite at all times. Corfu town is very scenic and well worth a visit, hop on the bus only 1 euro. Dassia as quite a few bars, tavernas, restaurants and tourist shops.

Just returned from a total chill out week at the Dassia Chandris hotel. The grounds are spectacular - get up early to reserve a table at the poolside (hold onto your beach towels - only issued between 10 - 11am daily).
Not a lot going on in Dassia, however, great for chilling out. Hotel facilities are superb, unfortunately as you will read constantly on trip advisor and the hotel log at reception, prices are far too high 3.20 for diet coke (travelling with kids can get expensive), 18 euros for a bottle of wine. Unfortunate when the local bars are so much cheaper. A must for gentlemen are long trousers, hubby only packed tailored shorts, which don't wash with the Restaurant Manager - had to buy a pair locally (not an easy job). Whilst on this subject, the hotels dress code does leave a lot to be desired - apparently Thomson Platinum states trousers must be work at dinner - there were various interpretations of this - jeans, three quarter trousers, not what I would call a smart dress code!! To sum our stay up - Dassia Chandris is a nice hotel, excellent food and location in Corfu, returned home chilled out!!
