Well this is my first ever post and I would never usually do things like this, but I often check this site before I book a holiday and sometimes find myself laughing at some of the petty complaints left by fellow travelers. If u want English food than stay in the UK, simple! Or if you’re amazed that the waiter could not speak very good English than ask yourself how much Greek can you speak? Right now to Pantokrator hotel – for the price this hotel was amazing, the hotel is a nice size not too big or too small. We stayed in a luxury room which was beautiful and the view out to sea was breathtaking, well worth the extra.
I have traveled around the world and for once the hotel pictures actually looked like the Pantokrator hotel.

There was different food every night and always some English alternatives for our fussier counterparts. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. After a hard year teaching this was the perfect getaway. If you are looking to sunbath, relax and just unwind then this is definitely the place for you, however if you are looking for a more upbeat resort with good entertainment every night or traveling with teenagers then i would recommend a different part of corfu, like corfu town, as this resort is a good place for couples and a family with younger children. Sitting upstairs at the bar overlooking the bay with a nice cold beer was heaven. The views are amazing whether from your room, bar, restaurant or pool. A great location overall

The walk to your room if at the top of the hill is about 5 mins max, again this is nothing major, if you can walk around the shops on a Saturday your be fine here, if you do however have mobility problems then maybe ask for a room near the main building or try another place. One last thing there is a shop at the end of the road about a mins walk from the hotel pool, the prices are very good and this is a good place to stock up on water etc.
