My boyfriend and I stayed in the Pantrokrator Hotel for 8 nights in August 2009. We decided to opt for a luxury room as we thought we'd treat ourselves. The room was lovely but I suppose we were expecting something slightly more plush having seen the pics and descriptions on the website. However, everything was nice and clean and we had everything we needed. One thing to keep in mind is that the luxury rooms seem to be further away from the main hotel and pool area. Its quite a steep walk so be prepared!!

The staff at Pantokrator hotel were very helpful...especially Elaine at Reception who gave us some great ideas for things to do. For eg...we hired a speed boat for the day (approx £80) and it was really fun...definately worth doing!
Barbati is quite a small resort and there are only a handful of restaurants nearby. They are all nice but there isnt much variety. If you hire a car I suppose you can travel around more and I would certainly recommend visiting Agni - the restaurants there are fantastic! The Barbati beach is about a 10-15 minute walk down a steep hill...its fine on the way down but is quite a walk back to the hotel...especially if you're room is higher up in the resort.
