I have been to Corfu three times and usually stay in
Kassiopi further up north and I have to say I will be returning to Kassiopi and not Barbati. There wasnt enough to do in the evenings, it was extremely quiet. Although there was some entertainment at the hotel it was very amateurish. We booked our holiday through
Flightline and they had stated that air conditioning and a fridge were included in the price, however when arriving we were told that only air conditioning was included and we had to pay 21 Euros for a fridge. We cannot understand why you have to pay for the use of a fridge, it struck us that they were very money grabbing at Pantokrator hotel. As we had a 5.15am flight we obviously needed to keep our room on and we were charged 30 Euros for this privilege which again we thought was extremely high. We would certainly recommend the boat trip "Blue Lagoon" as this was very relaxing and interesting.
Also take a trip into Corfu Town as this was very interesting. If you want a completely chill out holiday with lots and lots of walking up steep hills then this would be the place to go. The temperature was in the high 90's so probably worth going in September when the temperature has dropped and the walking up and down hills not so strenuous.
