The Pantokrator hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The food caters for many nationalities so do not expect plain British Food but it is a varied and healthy menu, not the most tasteful but certainly of a good quality.
The rooms are basic but very clean and has maid service everyday.
The atmosphere as stated, is one of relaxation. Do not go if you are expecting Brits abroad type entertainment, they prefer to play quiet music while you enjoy sitting on the terrace chatting but if you do ask and if there are enough people in the mood the staff will respond and provide you with lively entertainment.

Pantokrator hotel is on a very steep hill and Barbati itself has little to offer but a very busy main road, but buses and taxis are easily available. The pool area is worth staying around with a good quality bar and food service, very reasonable prices with friendly and helpful staff. Everything is kept exceptionally clean and if you do find fault they will react immediately. One family felt the childrens pool needed cleaning and it was emptied, scrubbed clean and filled again within hours. not many hotels would provide that kind of service. We had a wonderful stay and felt the staff and facilities were exactly as expected from their website. I would definitely return again when I need a place to literally get away from it all and just relax.
