My boyfriend and i have just returned from 1 week at the Pantokrator, i discovered the hotel last year via a last minute deal and expected the worst as it was so cheap. On arrival i was stunned, we got so much for our money, the hotel was beautiful.
We stayed in a standard room last year which is very typical of most Greek hotels, it was very basic, but all you need really.
This year we stayed in room 319 which is a luxury room, it was fairly spaceous, very well decorated and well equipped. I think if you're going to stay at this hotel the luxury rooms are a must and for so little extra in cost.

We're both in our early 20's and the hotel is in a quiet location, so if you want some R&R this hotel is perfect. The entertainment isn't great but there was music every night and with the view over the bay and a cocktail in hand you can chill out on the big sofas on the terrace.
Barbati is really beautiful, the beach was lovely, it's all shingle which isn't for me, but very picturesque all the same. Wherever you go you will be faced with the walk back up the hills, they're not for the unfit!!
Overall i would say this hotel is fab for the money, don't expect 5 star and you won't be disappointed!
