Our first hotel room was at the top of the mountain and took forever to get to reception, luckily after speaking to the rep we
got moved two days later to a much better room with great views of the sea. The room was clean and basic, pretty similar to most greek hotel rooms to be honest! the beds were a little on the firm side but after two weeks was well adjusted! We managed to find one semi-english tv channel which has movies around 10pm each night, inclduing the bodyguard but signal is quite crackly unfortunately! but hey we were not there to watch telly so can't complain

The bar had a good choice of drinks and cocktails , my favourite being one called P.S I love you (I think I worked my way through several!) and was open quite late which was good The restauant was better than I expected after seeing some reviews, nothing outstanding but there was a good choice everyday and reguarly re-stocked. Only personal dislike was one night a giant hornet decided to fly into my spaghetti carbonara and I havent been able to eat carbonara since! Quite a few cats sneak into the restaurant but didnt bother me and the waiters moved them on quite quickly

As others have already said, this is not for anyone with walking difficulties! it was a good 20-25 minute walk for us to the beach, which whilst stony was lovely. The water was warm and clear and was great seeing all the little fish! We did hire a motor boat off Barbati beach which was really good fun and my partner got to be captain for the day!! Was great weather that day and we went all the way along the coast and had a lovely lunch in a small taverna.

The only thing that really irritated me was all the wasps and as I have a phobia about them was not great at points! I did take fly killer though and a fly swatter so did 'dispose' of a few! We did have quite a variety of other insects take up residence including rather noisy centipedes but nothing to bad
The resort is lovely and quiet and views were really great but was a bit too steep for me. We paid just under £800 for the two of us and was good value for money but don't think I would go back
