We had a lovely time at the Pantokrator, we had booked the luxury rooms which I would recommend booking. Barbati is a fairly quiet, but beautiful resort. The hotel is at the top of a very steep hill which can be tough in the heat, but it wouldn't put me off. The pool area is very nice with a lovely poolside bar and view. The food in the evenings was so-so, but there are some nice restaurants close if you wanted a bit more choice. We took the water taxi from the beach to Corfu Town for a day and I would highly recomend this

The town is lovely, lots of shops and restaurants and very picturesque. The water taxi is also good value for money in comparison to the equivalant journey in a taxi and on our return journey the driver took us to some caves to look through the glass bottom of the boat. if you ask at the reception of the hotel they can tell you when the water taxi leaves. Overall we had a lovely relaxing holiday in this friendly resort. Highly recommended.
