We stayed at Nissaki Beach end of Aug/beginning of Sep and had a lovely time. We had a great view from our room overlooking the sea and the pool, the only downside was it was right next to the lift shaft (noisy) and above the restaurant so no chance of a lay in once people started going for breakfast, this was not a major problem as we wanted to be up and out enjoying the sun, sea and scenery! The bathroom was looking a little tired, but the room was cleaned daily and was spotless. On our first night we noticed the hose to the shower had a split in it, which was preventing it from working properly, however it was fixed the following day after we told reception.

The sunbeds round the pool really are reserved early, however it is 5 euros for two beds and an umbrella on the beach, which, compared to some of the beach's we visited was a bargain, and it is quieter on the beach too. The sea is lovely and warm and very clear. The pool is cleaned every morning around 8.30ish and for this reason I was not allowed in before 9 for an early swim before it got busy. Staff were incredibly helpful and were able to answer any questions we had and nothing was too much trouble. We decided to hire a car to give us a bit more freedom and this allowed us the chance to visit Corfu town in the evening, something the hotel bus did not offer.

We were half board so can not comment on the lunch menu. Breakfast had a good selection (although what they class as juice, is in fact squash) eggs in every form, bacon, sausage, cereal, cheese, ham etc, plus plenty of fresh fruit. Dinner was typical all inclusive, a bit greasy, not a huge choice, but not inedible. We had already decided before we arrived that we would eat out a few evenings, and this was a good decision as I think we would have got bored. There are two nice Tavernas on the beach and a short walk in either direction takes you to different coves with more choice of places to eat.

There were a lot of wasps about, but they seemed quite docile compared to the evil things we get in the UK! They were just curious and were a bit of a pest but did not sting if they were knocked away. Overall a nice relaxing place to stay. Oh one last thing, happy hour at the bar really is pay for one get two, they do not understand the pay for one get a different one free concept, buy hey, your on holiday right!!
