We are from Romania, Bucharest. Me and my husband we've been in the Nissaki Beach Hotel in the middle of August 2006 with couple and another couple with one kid of 4 years. It was great time, the hotel is great, the food was also verry good and the places in this Island are wonderfull. The entertaiment of the hotel we didn't like it very much, usually we choise to go in the places aroud. It is inconvenient the fact that you don't have where to walk around the hotel in the evening

And for kids they only have this minigolf which becomes borring after 2-3 evenings. Advice: don't go in August because is too hot. Don't plan to stay at the pool because you will not find a chair. The tourists put their towel since 6 am I think, because we went to the beach at 8am and all the chiars were taken but no tourists were there at that time. I understand that the hotel has a rule not to do this, but it seems that is not respected. This was our 4th year in Greece and it was wonderfull. The only inconvenient is that Nissaki Beach Hotel is isolated and you need a car if you want to see the nice places on Corfu island

Everything was great, except the fact that the beach is not made of sand, is only stones which for us was not good. But because we rented a car we could find another nice beaches of sand on the island. The most wonderfull was on the other part of the island Ag, Gordios which is a 2 km beach made of a very fine sand. The view there was wonderfull.
We also visited the most higher mountin on the Island from where you could see all the Island, the continent.... it was a wonderfull view. But we were very dissapointed about Sidari place, the beach was very dirty and Canal d'amour is a sheat, is great view but you can never understand which is Canal d'amour.

Our opinion was that if you buy a picture with it it is enough insteed of going there and be dissapointed.
Conclusion is that is choise to go in Corfu in the future try to go near a sandy beach and in a village because you have more to see that a hotel and a stone beach. Greece is wonderfull, we are in love with Greece and we might choise to go many years from now. Wish you all a great vacation and a great time in Corfu.
