Our stay was from July 18 to 25, and we drove with a rented car from Athens to Corfu via Igoumenitsa (not something that I would do again, but it was worth a try!!). First things I noticed from the get go were the fantastic views from the restraurant and hotel entrance, the large pool and bar area, and amazing food. I wonder if the guests really appreciated how excellent the dinners were - a large variety, including many authentic greek dishes, I think we all gained a little weight that week!!

We enjoyed all the evening entertainment and the animation team did a fantastic job with keeping everyone involved. Our kids (ages 6 & 8) loved them, and by the end of our stay thought they were celebrities!! Thank you Mario and your team for your energy and enthusiasm. The location was nicely removed from the very busy areas, but close enough that you could easily drive to Corfu town or explore other parts of Corfu island (we drove to Paleokatritsa, and it took us about a half hour). We did not take the bus, but there were many that can by the hotel for those who didn't have a car.

The staff of Nissaki Beach Hotel were very friendly for the most part, and did their best to make us feel welcome.
This is a place where you are free to do as much or as little as you like, and that caters well to the individual needs of each guest. Of course, there was a down-side but I have only two minor negative things to say - the A/C was barely functioning, and although I brought this up with the front desk nothing was done. The other was the view from our room was horrible - basically the side of a mountain. Mind you, we did not pay the extra for sea view but I did not expect that.
