It was not our first holiday in Greece - Crete and Rhodes, these beautiful Greek islands we've seen a few years ago and we thought that nothing can be more attractive and amazing...But Corfu is a very special place. It is really unique concerning the beauty of its nature, softness of its climate and comfort conditions of living for the tourists. We were hesitating what hotel to choose - Corfu Imperial or Eva Palace. We chose Eva Palace finally and we were not dissapointed - it is smaller , cosy and children are not allowed there. Mostly couples stay in this hotel, so the only noise were the birds singing in the morning.
The hotel is situated on the flank of the hill and all the rooms are facing the sea. Our room was on the fifth floor of the main building with the incredible sea view. There is the glass wall between the room and the balkony so you can admire the sea all the time. A little bit inconvinient was the glass wall with a semitransparent curtain between the room and the bathroom...

The Grecotel Eva Palace personnel is very friendly everywhere and eager to do all the best for the guests of the hotel.
The meals was good with traditional Greek dishes every evening. Once a week there was the Italian evening with Italian specialities and music...Six days a week there was live music in the pool bar or in the lobby bar in the evening

We stayed in Eva Palace for two weeks in the first half of September and the weather was very comfortable for us - not hot but very warm to swim and to bathe in the sun. The sea was calm all the time, so it was ideal for smimming. The beach was never overcrowded with quite a lot of people staying near the swimming pool.
To our mind it is the best place for a quiet family holiday in Corfu isle (Greece) and we hope to return to this hotel the next year.
