We came to Corfu under unfortunate circumstances: my parents were in a scooter accident and my mother was hospitalised. The Cavalieri was recommended to my dad by a taxi driver, and we joined him there when we arrived. My dad raved about the support he received from the staff (especially Stelios!) who helped him out with all manner of things that needed to be taken care of (he was also badly injured). When we arrived we were incredibly grateful to the staff for taking some of the burden, and we were also accommodated with all our requests and questions. They also were very understanding with our rooms- we didn't know when we'd be leaving and kept extending our stay, which they worked around with no problems.

Our room was fantastic, with a balcony, two bathrooms and a mezzanine floor for the bed. We only discovered the ac remote on our second to last day, but that was ok seeings it wasn't too hot yet and having come from Paris, we were enjoying the warmth! Breakfast was great, truly delicious with a good selection of breakfast foods. Internet was available in rooms, which was awesome- it's hard being a travelling geek!

Cavalieri Hotel has quaint charm, just perfect for Corfu and was right by Spianada square, a short walk from eateries (although I personally recommend Persona Grata which is further into town but BRILLIANT!) We were right by the beach, it was a short walk to the Boat Club restaurant and on our last day there was an awesome parade for a saint''s day that went right by the hotel. It can get a bit noisy at night from the boy races that zoom past pumping pop music, but with the windows shut you can't hear a thing and there's ac so in the summer months you'd be fine.

We were so pleased with the Cavalieri's service we gave them chocolate when we left, and we were so grateful that they were so accommodating when we needed it. Would highly recommend!
