This was my second time in Hotel Bretagne (the first one was three years ago) and I have to say that - although I was very satisfied back then - the hotel has been a bit downgraded in the meantime. However, this doesn't mean that it isn't still an option to consider. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the airport and opposite to the stadium. The distance to the centre of Corfu town is approximately 20 minutes on foot; this is not particularly discouraging though, as the way to the old town of Corfu (also named as Kerkyra in Greek laguage) by the sea offers very nice views

The size of the double room was adequate, however the bathroom was rather small. The furniture was a bit old, but this is not so bothersome. The breakfast was nothing very special, but the service in general was really friendly and professional, from the booking process until our stay. There was also a computer with access to the internet in the lounge that could be used by all customers with no charge for as long as they wanted, and this of course was very useful for us

In a few words, Hotel Bretagne can do its job, if your demands are not too exclusive. Especially if for some reason you prefer to stay somewhere close to the airport, it can be really convenient. Otherwise, it's true that you can find better accommodation if you look for a hotel in the old town of Corfu, however this will be a bit or a lot more expensive than Hotel Bretagne
