We have been to Agios Gordios five years ago and stayed in self catering apartments this time we stayed at the Thomson Gold Hotel. We have no complaints about the hotel, everything was excellent. The reps were friendly and approachable but also left you alone if you didnt want to be involved with their activities.
The food was fine with lots of choice, the Al a carte restaurant was lovely. We spend our days on the beach, when we walked past the pool there was always something fun going on. The entertainment , although not quite our taste was very professionally done, the roof terrace where the stage is , is a beautiful setting.

If you stay here you must go into the village - 10 min walk along the boardwalk on the beach. The locals are friendly and the bars relaxed. The lemon Tree and Time out are great. Mikes Dancing Pub is cheesy and fun! Walk right round the beach to sit in the deck chairs at the Alo Bar with a cocktail and watch the sun go down over the beach.
Even though the brochures warn you there are ALOT of steps, not just to the beach but in the hotel aswell. No real problems for us, the exercise does you good!
I would recommend the Agios Gordios Hotel to any body wanting a relaxing holiday. We will go back to the resort but will stay in an apartment in the village, not because we don't like the hotel but because we like our freedom on holiday.
