Just arrived back from this hotel and we had a lovely relaxing week which is exactly what we were looking for. Firstly the seaweed - it does spoil what would otherwise be a perfect view, however we did not find that it smelled at all and therefore did not attract flies as it does in this country! It was not at all slimy and was in fact soft and dry to walk on, saving your feet from the hot burning sand. Just a short distance along the beach it was totally clear from weed with crystal clear waters to swim in. Go to SEB and JOYCE's beach, they look after you so well and burn coffee to keep the wasps at bay.
So onto "the wasps" yes there were many especially first thing in the morning when they were searching for food, and I am terrifed of them, however, did not find them as much of a nuicsance as at home since they did not seem interested in your drinks and would leave you alone if you sprayed a little insect repellant on top of your suncream.

We did not see anyone who got stung. We did not see any mosquitos even though we had been warned but maybe they had all been eaten by the wasps or our extra strength repellant did its job well!? The all inclusive did finish at 11 pm and was limited in what drinks were included but if beer and wine is all you want then it was ok and for the cheap package you have to remember you get what you pay for! We feel we got a fair deal for what we paid.

Food was very good and even the fussiest eater would be able to find something to eat. The liitle resort further along was very quaint and we were not bothered from people trying to sell you sunglasses or whatever as you are in Tenerife!
Aquis Agios Gordios hotel was kept very clean but they did make a poor choice in providing cream coloured matressess for the pool sunbeds which must have looked beautiful when new, but have become very dirty with use as you would expect.
A different colour would have certainly been far more practical. And finally the weather - Clear blue skies all day every day, not one cloud in sight. It was worth every penny just for the uniterrupted sunshine and the hotel's air condition which was in first class working order. If the hotel could arrange to remove the seaweed which arrived in a strom in March/April this year I feel the reviews would be more positive. Corfu is a pretty island and well worth a visit.
