Although built in the side of a mountain and access to the villages or the beach, requires a bit of hard walking or lots of steps, this location is fantastic. The staff are the friendliest, most helpful people with always a smiling face. The standard of the food, bedrooms and hygiene in all the public areas, was excellent, although we initially found it difficult to not dispose of toilet paper in the usual way but hey this is still a quite primitive Greek Island in a lot of repects, which only adds to its beauty.

There was every facility you would require in Aquis Agios Gordios Beach Hotel on a holiday although we arrived just four days after re-opening for the season and the Village was closed but we watched it all come to life again and the re-start of the public bus into Corfu town. The Al a Carte restaurant which is located poolside, was a beautifully presented place to eat and the Chef and his team, served some of the best and varied food, which we got for free with the deal.
