This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The first was in 2002. Since that time the hotel has developed and improved tremendously. New sunbed areas, refurbished reception areas and a new gym with spa facilities add to a location and hotel that says WOW at every turn. This is a 4* hotel with stunning views over the small bay and village that is Aghios Gordios. The restaurant is comfortable with stunning food. The show lounge is comfortable with stunning sunset views in the evening. The staff are the friendliest you will ever meet with bar service prompt and efficient

The rooms are well maintained and modern - contrary to previous reviews (We are 35 and 27 years old). They are clean with pictures on the wall, comfortable beds, TV with 4 satellite chanels including SKY News. There is a mini-fridge but it is not stocked. There is a full Thomson Gold programme of entertainment with hard working reps, hosts and show staff. The evening entertainment is adequate but was not as good as other Gold hotels we have been to. Afew too many quizes for us. Avoid the Thomson trips as well - they are very expensive for what you get. You are better off hiring a car or arranging a trip locally. However, this is a fantastic hotel and we had one of the best holidays ever. Weather hot and sunny by the way (Half a day of cloud and rain, the rest was sunshine with top temperature of 100 degrees!)
