ust returned from a weeks stay at Aquis Agios Gordios hotel, wish we had booked longer! I don't understand how people can complain about this hotel, yes the wasps are a bit of a pain but thats nature and they're not that bad. Apart from that we thought it was fantastic value, the views are amazing - picture post-code stuff, the staff work very hard and are friendly, the food was really good - loads of fresh salads, meat, bread, deserts etc as well as your spag bol and chips for you fussy eaters. You can tell how good the Agios Gordios hotel is because the atmosphere is so chilled out, and so are the guests.

We upgraded to a sea-view bungalow so I can only comment about them - they're are a short walk up-hill from the main hotel. It was a lovely room, with cold AC, stunning views and very clean, you get a lot more privacy in these as soom of the rooms in the main section are right next to the roof bar!
The all-inclusive drinks are very good, yes there is a limit on the menu, but the beer was cold, the wine was reasonable, and you could pretty much ask for what you wanted really if you did it with a smile! It would be nice if they extended the AI drinks till a bit later though as it finishes dead on 11pm. The pool is nice (might a little cold for some!), and yes the beach can get a bit sea-weedy, but it is the sea! The pictures they put on their website are pretty much what you get.

The entertainment is ok they do make an effort, but you can always go to one of the other bars if it's not to your liking. Take some DVD's with you as well because there is only a couple of English channels available. We are a couple in our late-20's, I would say that the hotel is geared towards the older generation, so if you want a heavy session all day/night long with music pumping then this isn't for you, but if you want to have relaxing chilled AI holiday in the sun then I definately recommend this place. Although there is a bar at the end of the road (which we did a couple of times) which is open to the wee small hours if you wanna boogie! We'll be going back to this hotel without any hesitation.
