My sister (18yo) and me (25yo) stayed at Aquis Agios Gordios hotel from 7 to 17 July.
Rooms are very good, room service is on the same level. There's just one trifle, the maids do not take tips left for them in the room, we decided that this could be the only reason for their coming and announcing that they will clean your room now (with you on the spot) or tomorrow. It happened 3 times between 3 and 4 p.m., when after having lunch you want to relax a bit before going to the beach. And it was after they had come in the morning and we said that in 10 min we'd be gone.
The main restaurant is a very nicely coloured place where delicious lamb and yummy afters are offered. The staff there is very friendly and efficient. Androniki would be ideal if the cooks gave up the habit of putting too much salt in squid dish.

Drinks regrettably were undrinkable, but after a glass of Martini from Duty Free local red wine turned into a passable thing mysteriously and quite added to the enjoyment of the evenings. The juices have no right to be called by this name. Stick to water. I didn't try beer and hard drinks. The guests were offered a glass of nice champagne twice and 2 (not on AI list) coctails during the meals

The staff of Aquis Agios gordios Hotel is very good in general, the best of them are concentrated in the reception area, Christina, Dimitris (infinitely grateful to you) and Claudiu, porter, should be singled out for being very helpful, friendly, proactive, smiling...... Dimitris the Elder from the beach area and Stefan, in charge of car rental, were also fantastic. Seaweed on the beach is quite invigorating, for you want to go and do something with it on your own, for the fact of heaps of it lying there unattended seems inconceivable. But it doesn't spoil the time on the beach, for you can go 5 metres and the water is crystal clear there. The sunbeds cost 7 euros and 5 if you come after 3p.m. Beware of the very hot sand, makes you want to cry, so take closed shoes with you. The sun is also bad, so don't forget to wear your hats and use creams or somethin

Agios Gordios hotel was not crowded during our stay, so the sunbeds by the pool were available the whole day, to say nothing of the beach. But on 15 July there came quite a lot of people, so we were glad we had chosen the first half of July for our trip. The animation team consist of 3 persons, who are obviously instructed to be invisible, may be I have no right to say so, because I have witnessed 2 instances of aqua aerobics, which made me quite thrilled at the discovery of the mysterious team's existence. The evenings compensate for the lack of entertaiment during the day. I am very thankful to the management of the hotel for their choice of such good performers and singers. Evenings at the hotel are idyllic with people coming down to watch sunsets and then to listen to live music. The guests of the hotel are couples of different age groups, 18-80. There were only some singles and these were mostly mothers with daughters. I'm not going to write anything about the beauty of the spot, just go and see it. I can only say that no picture can convey what you will see in reality, the reaction will certainly be endless Oh's.

Now I'd like to say a few words for those who are interested in Agios Gordios and Corfu in general. I'll write about the places we were to. Agios Gordios: a small quiet village, many shops and cafes. The elder people will like it at Zorbas taverna, Mexicana and many others, the younger should definetely go to the Lemon Tree. There are no clubs there, Stagousta, boasting a video on YouTube, had no single client during our stay. I personally was shoked at the names of the coctails at Mike's, but I think the place is aimed at the guests of Pink Palace.

Corfu: It's better to hire a car, but if you won't, travelling the island is no problem since the bus service is very good.
Only don't forget that buses can be 5-20 minutes late. Actually, there are 3 most beautiful places on the island, the first one is Agios Gordios, and here are the next ones. I highly recommed going to Peroulades beach, which is 5 minutes drive or 50 min walk from Sidari . You'll never forget the experience. And the third one is Paleokastritsa, it's impossible to describe the beauty of the place, but the water is very cold there, so it's no use taking you swimsuits with you

I cannot describe our disappointment at finding that people don't dance at nightclubs... We were recommended to go to Villa Mercedes on the road from Corfu town to Gouvia, and were shoked to see that people were standing at the bar, drinking, talking... they told us it's the usual picture there, so we went to the Lemon tree, the music there is good.
P.S. Wasps were busy somewhere else, but sent some 3 beasts of their kind every day to show that Aquis Agios Gordios hotel was their territory, which they were lending to mosquitoes at present. P.P.S. To say that we enjoyed our stay is to say nothing. I didn't mean to be critical or sarcastic, I only want some trifles to be improved to make the place a perfection. I intentionally abstained from describing many pleasant thing, let them come as a surprise if you go there, which I highly recommend. I felt all the time I was daydreaming and was almost crying while going to Corfu airport
