Chryssi is one of the 81 uninhabited islands of Crete and it is located 8 nautical miles south of Ierapetra.
The locals call it “Gaidouronisi” which means donkey island. It is the paradise on earth where one can find beaches with white sand, crystal clear waters, cedar trees and countless small shells! To get there, visitors need to board one of the boats making the trip from Crete and the only way to tour the island is by foot. |
